Nearly twenty-five thousand homes in southeastern Queensland woke up lacking electricity on Monday morning after intense storm systems passed over the state, producing wind gusts reaching 109km/h.
Large Hailstones and Broad Destruction
Residents observed giant hailstones measuring up to seven centimeters in some areas. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that multiple regions across the state had been hit with significant hail.
